Review by hotel critic
Maracuja Hostel is a modest accommodation that offers a decent balance between value and comfort. While the shared bathroom may not appeal to all, the private rooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy haven for weary travelers. The housekeeping service ensures that the rooms are kept tidy, adding to the overall pleasant stay. One notable feature is the lovely garden area with comfortable garden furniture, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the serene surroundings. The shared kitchen is a convenient option for guests looking to prepare their meals, adding a touch of homeliness to the hostel. The absence of air conditioning may be a drawback for some, especially during warmer days. However, the hostel compensates with other amenities like Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV in the communal areas, catering to the modern traveler's needs. In terms of value, Maracuja Hostel offers a budget-friendly option with basic amenities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It may lack the luxury of high-end hotels, but for those seeking a laid-back and friendly environment, this cozy hostel by the river is worth considering for a relaxed stay in Paraty.
